GP Registrar

I have lived in Darwin for over 15 years with my husband and 4 children. She enjoys seeing patients of all ages and has done
extra terms in Paediatrics and Geriatrics at Royal Darwin and Palmerston Regional Hospitals. Since becoming a GP Registrar,
I have undertaken Fertility Education Medical Management training and is a FEMM practitioner with special interests in
reproductive health, male and female subfertility, and menstrual cycle disorders.

General Practitioner

I am a specialist General Practitioner and have been working in Darwin for the last 6 years. As a General Practitioner I do enjoy all arenas of General Practice with special interests in Women’s Health, Antenatal Shared care, Child Health, Skin Cancer, Chronic Disease Management and Preventative Health Care. I have completed a Certificate in Skin Cancer Surgery, Certificate in Women’s Health from RANZCOG, and I am currently in the process of completing a Certificate in Skin Cancer Medicine.

Psychologist (Allied Health)

Lorna Murphy is a registered psychologist with AHPRA (Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency.) She graduated from Monash University in 1997. Since then, Lorna has worked in forensic settings, drug and alcohol rehabilitation, community health and Relationships Australia.
She has been in private practice since 2009. Lorna will see individuals and couples who are age 16 and above. Her approach has been described as creative and empowering. She encourages us to regain our confidence and vitality. Lorna is invested in helping us navigate the suffering, trauma and grief that life brings. The focus is on resilience and recovery and getting back to a joyful meaningful existence. The interventions are influenced by positive psychology principles which focus on our strengths and values. Lorna helps to challenge the negative beliefs with cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) and "loosen the grip" of anxiety and depression with acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT). These therapies build your resources, with the aim of developing emotional tolerance. The most significant resource is you and how you can develop your "superpowers."

My name is Jonathan Thomas, I am a GP from Ipswich Queensland where I have been in practice for 49 years, having graduated from Queensland University in 1967.
My interests are very general, Palliative Care, Geriatrics, Minor Surgery, Mirena insertions, and General Medicines etc.
I am enjoying a short-term Locum position with the Clinic giving me the opportunity to spend some time with my new Granddaughter
